Do you have questions about the application process at ROFA Group?
Here you will find answers to the most frequently asked questions.
I have questions about a job posting or my career opportunities in general. Who can I contact?
You are welcome to use our Quick Contact Form and briefly describe your concern. You will then receive your answer by email. If you provide your phone number, we can also contact you by phone if you wish.
How can I apply to the ROFA Group on my own initiative?
You are welcome to apply on your own initiative. Please select only one of the ROFA companies with the respective location and apply to the “On Spec” job posting. Please indicate your area of interest or desired field.
How can I apply?
If you have found a suitable position, simply use our online form. Please understand that we prefer applications in paper form or by email – firstly, to ensure a speedy application process, and secondly, for data protection reasons.
What is the application process like?
After you have submitted your online application, you will receive an automatic confirmation of receipt. We will then take the time to carefully review your application. If your documents have convinced us, we will invite you to an initial meeting (video interview) via Microsoft Teams or in person with the department.
When will I receive feedback on my application?
We strive to review your application quickly and forward it to the department for further examination of your qualifications. In most cases, you will receive feedback on your application within a week.
What questions are asked in the interviews?
The focus of the interviews is on mutual exchange at eye level. We want to get to know you both personally and professionally and also give you space for questions and open points. For us, your motivation and the background of your CV are just as important as your professional know-how.
What is the status of my application?
Since we usually receive a large number of applications and several parties are involved in the selection process, feedback may sometimes take a little longer. If it does take longer, you will receive an interim notification. This will inform you about the current status of the application process. You can ask questions at any time.
How long does the entire selection process take?
The duration of the selection process depends on many factors. We strive to make the process as quick as possible while allowing enough time to get a comprehensive picture of you and for you to gain a deep insight into the position. Depending on the availability of the people involved in the interviews, the selection process can be completed within a few days or take a little longer. Our focus is on providing you with intensive support, so you are always informed about the current status.
Do I have to cover the travel expenses for an interview myself?
No, we will discuss your travel arrangements individually and reimburse you for the travel expenses incurred upon submission of the original receipts. Usually, we cover the travel costs to the interview from your place of residence stated in the application, up to the cost of second-class public transport. Any other interview-related costs (e.g., hotel or meal expenses) will not be reimbursed.
Do I necessarily need a cover letter?
No. A motivation letter with a resume is usually sufficient in the first step.
Can I view or change my application?
Once it has been submitted, you do not have access to your documents. However, you can contact the responsible HR representative at any time.
What should I do if I am interested in several job postings?
To ensure quick and easy processing, please apply for each position separately.
What happens to my data?
Your data will, of course, be treated confidentially. You can find more detailed information in our privacy policy and the privacy section of the career portal.
